These rules apply to profiles, Connects, images, messages and all other content within VACHAR.
VACHAR has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content or conduct that threatens, harasses, discriminates against or exploits others, or violates applicable law, is not permitted.
Treat others with respect
The following are not permitted in particular:
- insults and targeted harassment,
- intimidation and threats,
- degrading or hateful content,
- incitement to violence.
No discrimination
People must not be demeaned, threatened or deliberately excluded because of personal characteristics.
Protection from sexual exploitation
Sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, sexual content involving minors and grooming are prohibited.
No illegal offers
VACHAR must not be used to facilitate illegal goods, services or activities.
No deception or fraud
- no fake profiles,
- no impersonation,
- no fraudulent offers,
- no phishing,
- no manipulated payment requests,
- no spam.
Protect personal data
Sensitive personal data of other people must not be published without authorization. This includes in particular private addresses, phone numbers, access credentials, identity documents and financial data.
Meet safely
- choose a public place whenever possible,
- inform a trusted person if appropriate,
- share personal data only voluntarily,
- end contact if a situation feels unsafe.
Report, hide and block
Problematic content or users can be reported. Connects can be hidden immediately from a user's own feed and abusive users can be blocked. Reports involving objectionable content or abusive behavior are reviewed within 24 hours. Where a violation is confirmed, the content is removed and the responsible user is suspended or permanently removed from VACHAR as appropriate.

- temporary suspension,
- permanent suspension.
Circumventing a suspension
Creating or using additional accounts to circumvent a suspension is not permitted.
Fair moderation and complaints
Where legally required, users affected by a moderation measure receive the material reasons and available complaint routes. Internal complaints are reviewed diligently, promptly, and not solely by automated means.
Where the Digital Services Act applies, certain moderation decisions may also be submitted to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Art. 21 DSA. Details are available under User Rights.
